Changing Static Front-end service IP Addresses

This section describes the method of adjusting Static front-end service IP addresses.

Dynamic and static Front-end service IP Addresses on one node must be in the same network segment and be either IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.

After a node is migrated to a newly created zone, change the static service IP address of the node to subnet IP address of the zone.

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > Cluster Settings > InfoEqualizer > Node Management.
  3. In the node list, select a node and click Properties.
  4. In the Node Properties dialog box that is displayed, change Static Service IP Address to the subnet IP address of the zone.
  5. In the Warning dialog box that is displayed, select I have read the warning message carefully and click OK.
  6. In the Execution Results dialog box that is displayed, click Close.

In the process of modifying the front-end IP address, nodes may be temporarily disabled state and may cause service abnormal alarm. After modifying all the front-end IP address, the node state will be normal and the alarm will be cleared automatically.

  7. Repeat 3 to 6 to change the static front-end IP address for each node.
