Preparing Data

Preparing Data

To facilitate subsequent operations, you need to prepare configuration data such as the data analysis directory name and IP addresses of all Hadoop nodes.

The interconnection owner needs to contact the Hadoop cluster administrator for interconnection data as shown in Table 14-16.

Table 14-16  Preparing data

Data analysis directory

In OceanStor 9000, create an NFS shared directory for the Hadoop cluster to access.

OceanStor 9000 DeviceManager login address and admin password

Used to log in to OceanStor 9000 DeviceManager to complete required operations.

Login address:

admin password: Admin@storage

Cloudera Manager login address and admin password

Used to log in to Cloudera Manager to complete required operations.

Login address:

admin password: Admin@123

Login mode of the Hive metabase

Used to migrate Hive data. If no Hive data exists before the interconnection, there is no need to prepare user omm's password of the Hive metabase.

The Hive metabase is not embedded in Cloudera Hadoop. Therefore, you need to obtain the login IP address, login command, user name, and password of the external database.

IP addresses, host names, and root passwords of all Hadoop nodes

Used for interconnection.

One Hadoop node can have one or more IP addresses. If multiple IP addresses communicate with the front-end service network of OceanStor 9000, list all the IP addresses.
