Configuration Planning

This section describes the networking and service planning of InfoRevive features of OceanStor 9000.

Network Planning

Plan the network based on the analysis of customer requirements. Figure 9-3 shows the network diagram.

InfoRevive is purpose-built for the video surveillance scenario, and is usually used together with UniformView and eSight to meet the demand on unified monitoring. If only InfoRevive needs to be enabled, ensure that its license is available and configure InfoRevive by following instructions in Configuration and Management.

An OceanStor 9000 cluster is deployed in each district to store video surveillance data. A shared directory is configured in the cluster.eSight is deployed in the network management center of the head office to centrally manage the OceanStor 9000 clusters in the three districts. A UniformView client is deployed in the monitoring center of the head office. The shared directories of the three storage clusters are mounted to the UniformView client. The monitoring platform can centrally monitor all ATM service points in city A by accessing the mounting root directory of UniformView.

Service Planning

Plan services based on the analysis of customer requirements. Figure 9-4 shows the process of service planning.
