Account is the credential to use the object storage service.

Account is the owner of resources, and has fully control of buckets and objects. Account can create users and authenticate users to use resources by permission control.

On the OceanStor 9000, accounts can be managed using the following methods.

  • Administrators can manage accounts by using DeviceManager, which provides graphical user interface (GUI) management. For details, see the section Account Management in Object Storage Service (Compatible with Amazon S3 APIs) .
  • Users of the OceanStor 9000 can also develop account management interfaces by using account management REST APIs provided by the object storage service. For details, see OceanStor 9000 Account Management API Specification.
