Adding a USM User

This operation enables you to add a USM user.

Context

USM users can log in to an upper-layer external NMS (such as SNMP NMS or SMI-S storage management software).

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > Alarm Settings > USM User Management.
  3. Click Add.

    The Add USM User dialog box is displayed.

  4. Set USM parameters. For related parameters, see Table 19-3.
