Remotely Logging In to the GUI of the P12/P25/P36/C36 Through an IPMI Port

Prerequisites

Operations described in Configuring an IP Address for the IPMI Port on the P12/P25/P36/C36 has been completed, the L3 network communication is normal between the installation PC and the IPMI port on the storage node to which you want to log in.

Procedure

  1. In the address box of the installation PC web browser, enter the login address of the graphical user interface (GUI) and press Enter.

For example, if the IP address of the IPMI port on the storage node to which you want to log in is 10.110.100.10, the login address is https://10.110.100.10.

    NOTE:

You can also enter the IP address of the IPMI port in the address box of the web browser and press Enter, and the system will automatically identify and convert the IP address to the login address.

  2. Ignore the warning information.

The Internet Explorer is used as an example. As you are prompted with "There is a problem with this website's security certificate", click Continue to this website (not recommended), and the login page is shown in Figure 22-1.

The default user name and password are admin and Admin@storage respectively.
