Creating an Account

If you want to use the object storage service to store and access data, you need to create an account first.


  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Provisioning > Account Management.
  3. Click Create. The Create Account wizard is displayed as shown in Figure 8-2.

  4. In Account ID, Account Name, and Email, enter corresponding information and click Next.

    • Account ID: An account ID contains 3 to 32 letters, digits, @, periods (.), underscores (_) and hyphen (-) only. The account ID is unique and cannot be changed after being created.
    • Account Name: An account name contains at most 128 letters. The account name is unique and can be changed after being created.

  5. After confirming the configuration information, click Finish.
  6. A set of certificates (SK and AK) is generated after initialization, as displayed in Figure 8-3.

    After you click Close, you cannot query and obtain SK information. If SK information is lost, you cannot use its corresponding AK to access the system. Therefore, save the SK information properly.

    Please change the certificates periodically to ensure the security of account.

  7. Click Close.
