Table 17-5 and Table 17-6 list related parameters.

    Table 17-5  Node authentication parameters

    Parameter

    SSH Authentication Type

Indicates the SSH authentication type for a node. The value can be Password or Public Key. Select at least one authentication type.

    • Password: When Password is selected, user can use password authentication when logging in to the storage node through SSH.
    • Public Key: When Public Key is selected, users can use public key authentication when logging in to the storage node through SSH. Ensure that the certificate files are imported.
    • Password+Public Key: When both Password and Public Key are selected, users can either use password authentication or public key authentication (the certificate files are imported) when logging in to the storage node through SSH.
    NOTE:

When you restore the storage node to factory settings by executing the script, SSH Authentication Type is restored to Public Key and Password, the default value. However, you can only enter the password to log in to the current storage node because the publickey certificate is not imported yet.
