Creating and Importing a Certificate

Creating and Importing a Certificate

Each account requires a certificate to pass authentication and access the object storage service. Administrators can create a set of certificates for an account. Please change the certificates periodically to ensure the security of account.

Administrators can create certificates for an account only when the account has no certificates.

A set of certificates have been created when administrator created an account, and the account is active. Administrator can only create one set of certificates for an account, so the original certificates must be deleted first when creating certificate again by administrator.

  2. Choose Provisioning > Account Management.
  3. Select an account for which you want to create certificates, and click Properties > General.
  4. Keep the account' status is Active, choose the certificate that to be deleted, and click Delete to delete the certificate, as displayed in Figure 8-4.
