Creating a Cluster Group

Creating a Cluster Group

A cluster group is composed of one or two clusters to form a logical storage cluster. It is created to set up the replication relationship between clusters and applies to data backup and restore.

Context

A cluster group can only be created in DeviceManager of the default cluster in the default AZ.

The default region is used as an example when creating a cluster group. The operations in other regions are similar to those in the default region.

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > Storage Region Settings > Region Information Configuration > Cluster Group.
  3. Click Create. The Create Cluster Group dialog box is displayed.
  4. Set the cluster group parameters and click OK.

Table 6-11 lists the related parameters.
