Account Management Process

To use the OceanStor 9000 object storage service, you must manage its accounts.

Figure 8-1 shows how to open an account of the object storage service.

Table 8-1 describes the configuration procedure.

Create an account.

You must create an account and specify its ID and name before opening the account.

Create and import a certificate.

The account needs a certificate as identity authentication to access services. Each account can have up to three sets of certificates.

Subscribe services for the account.

The account needs to subscribe services before using the object storage service, for example, activating the account.

Configure storage policies.

In the object storage service, storage policies are set for the account. The storage policies are Erasure Code protection levels and account quotas.
