Viewing Switch Detail Information

This operation enables you to know the IP address, status, master details, number of ports, number of connected ports, and description of a switch.


  • The Running Status of switches are Online.
  • The operation and maintenance tool has added switches.
  • You have logged in to the DeviceManager as an administrator that has the permission. The following administrators have the permission:
    • Super administrator
    • Administrator


  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > Switch Management > Switches.
  3. View the IP address, running status, active/standby, location, ports, and connected ports of a switch.
  4. Click the IP address of the switch.
  5. In the middle page view the detail information of ports. Table 15-3 shows the related parameters.

    The connection status of port.

    Received Bytes

    The received bytes of port.

    Received Packets

    The received packets of port.

    Received Error Packets

    The received error packets of port.

    Sent Bytes

    The sent bytes of port.

    Sent Error Packets

    The sent error packets of port.
