Configuring a Maximum Number of Concurrent Requests

Configuring a Maximum Number of Concurrent Requests

To ensure service performance of the nodes in the object storage service and prevent DDoS attacks, you can configure a maximum number of concurrent requests for the nodes to limit the number of clients' requests for simultaneously accessing the nodes.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the CLI. For details about how to log in to the CLI, see "Appendix A Common Operations > Logging In to the CLI."
  2. Run the show node general to query the Node ID and type.
  3. Run the change object_storage_compatible_swift_request <nodeid> <current_req> command to modify the maximum number of concurrent requests for a specified node.

You need to separately configure the maximum number of concurrent requests for each node.

  4. Run the show object_storage_compatible_swift_request <nodeid> command to query whether the maximum number of concurrent requests has been set successfully.
