Connect to the Keystone authentication server.

The Keystone server must be connected to authenticate the users of the object storage service.

Create Tenant, User, and Role on the Keystone server.

The Tenant, User, and Role are related. Account management and authentication are performed based on this relationship. After they are created, you need to configure the Role as a role that can operate Accounts in OceanStor 9000.

Configure an Account management policy.

After Tenant, User, and Role are created on the Keystone server, there must be a corresponding Account in the OceanStor 9000 to use system resources. The Account management policy determines whether an Account can be created in or deleted from the OceanStor 9000, and whether an Account can be created automatically.

Configuring the cache validity period of authentication information.

You can configure the time when the authentication information about the object storage service (compatible with OpenStack Swift APIs) is saved to the OceanStor 9000.
