Modifying Node's IP Address

You can modify the front-end service IP address of a node that provides the object storage service.


Modifying node's IP address may interrupt the object storage service. You need to confirm that no clients are connected to the IP address before modifying it.


The management IP address of OceanStor 9000 can be modified using only the CLI. The front-end service IP address of a node can be modified using DeviceManager.


  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Settings > Cluster Settings > Cluster Node Settings.
  3. Select a node, and click Modify IP Address.
  4. In the Modify IP Address dialog box, enter IP Address, Gateway, and Subnet Mask, and click OK.
  5. The Danger dialog box is displayed. Carefully read the contents of the dialog box and select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation.
  6. Click OK.
