ACL Permission

ACL Permission

You can configure the ACL to control the access to Containers.

In the object storage service, the ACL is configured for Containers. By configuring the ACL of a Container, you can control the read/write permission of the Objects in the Container. Table 2-2 describes users that can be authorized with the permission.

Authorized User

Description

Users in Keystone

The ACL permission can be granted to Users in Keystone.

Anonymous users

If the permission is assigned to anonymous users, all users can access the Objects in the related Container.

Table 2-3 lists the supported ACL permission types.

READ

With the read permission of a Container, you can access the Objects in this Container.

WRITE

With the write permission of a Container, you can upload or delete Objects to or from this Container.
