NOTE:

On eSpace 8950S IP phones, users cannot view the usage status of the SD card, Bluetooth, or USB storage device or the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth MAC address.

Viewing Phone Status on the LCD Screen

  1. Tap . On the APPLICATION tab, tap Settings.
  2. In the SYSTEM area, tap About Phone.

    On the phone screen, you can check information, such as the phone model, versions of software and hardware, Android version, SN, and configuration customization time. Table 45-2 describes operations for collecting logs and viewing upgrade packages, phone status, and location information.

    Upgrade

    Check whether the phone has an available upgrade package.

    Status

    Then you can view information about the peripheral status, network status, and MAC address.

    • Peripheral: View the usage status of the SD Card, Bluetooth, USB camera, USB storage device and HD display device.
    • IPv4 Network Status: View the phone's IP address, gateway address, and subnet mask information.
    • MAC: View the phone's Wi-Fi MAC Address, Ethernet MAC Address, and Bluetooth MAC Address.
    • 802.1X: View the information of 802.1x authentication.
    • Tr069 Connection: View the NMS connection status of the IP phone.

    Call Status

    View the phone's audio and video data sending and reception status.

    Log Collection

    The dialog box with the message "Upload phone logs to the server?" is displayed on the phone screen. Tap OK and upload logs from the phone to the network management server.

    Location

    View the phone's physical location.

    NOTE:
    • If the Log Collection or Location parameter is not displayed on the phone LCD screen, contact the system administrator.
    • The configuration customization time can be viewed only after the phone successfully loads the customization configuration file. If you have any question, contact the system administrator.

Viewing Phone Status on the Web Page

On the phone web page, choose View Status.

  • Network: View the phone's IP address, gateway address, and subnet mask information.
  • Peripheral Status: View the usage status of the SD Card, USB camera, USB storage device, and HD display device.
  • About Phone: View the phone's software version, BOOT version, and hardware version information.
