Video Control

Video Control

If the IP phone is equipped with a USB camera, you can perform a video call on the IP phone. You can set the video control options, including setting whether to enable automatic video call placing or answering or whether to enable local video.

You can set the video control function on your phone LCD screen or web page. For detailed operations, see Table 4-1.

  • Automatic Video Call: In the EC6.X or UC2.X environment, incoming calls will be answered in video mode by default when you answer the calls using the handset or headset or in speaker mode; calls will be placed in video mode if you place the calls using the dialing rule, hotline, and speed dial. In the IMS+UC environment, the video mode is automatically selected when you place and answer calls.
  • Autostart Camera: During video calls, the camera is started automatically.
