Adding Groups and Members

Adding Groups and Members

You can add groups and members on the phone LCD screen or web page. You can add a maximum of 128 groups. Each group supports a maximum of 1000 contacts. The total number of contacts in all groups cannot exceed 2000.

  • When the IP phone is downgraded to a version earlier than V200R003C30SPCh00, the maximum number of local contacts on the IP phone is reduced to 1000. If the number of local contacts exceeds 1000, the extra contacts cannot be loaded. Before downgrading the IP phone, you are advised to export local contacts to a file, delete unnecessary local contacts from the file, delete all local contacts on the IP phone, and import the modified local contacts into the IP phone.
  • Because the phone performance is limited, you are advised to add a single contact to only one group. Do not add a contact to more than two groups.
