Before Your Configuration

Before Your Configuration

  • It is recommended that you edit the configuration file using a text editor.
  • For the parameters that are not described in the document, you do not need to set them in the configuration file.
  • If you set the password item in the configuration file to N asterisks (*), where the value of N ranges from 1 to 31, the setting does not take effect after the configuration file is imported into the phone and the original password on the phone is still used.
  • For parameters with non-numeric values, if they are left empty in the configuration file, the corresponding parameters on the phone web page are still left empty after the configuration file is imported into the phone. For parameters with numeric values, if they are left empty in the configuration file, the corresponding parameters on the phone web page are set to 0 after the configuration file is imported into the phone.
  • In this document, the Effective upon Restart column has two options: Y (indicating that the parameter setting takes effect after phone restart) and N (indicating that the parameter setting takes effect without the need of phone restart).
  • In the Default Value column of this document, the combination of "Network name: Value" indicates the default value in the corresponding network environment. For example, "CC: 0" indicates that the default value is 0 in the CC network environment. If multiple network names correspond to one default value, the default value is for all these network environments.
