Describes the services supported by the eSpace 7910&7950 IP phones and the implementation of such services.

Wi-Fi (Only for eSpace 7950 IP Phone)

eSpace 7950 supports the Wi-Fi function from V200R003C00SPCe00.

Before using the Wi-Fi function, ensure that the USB port is enabled. For any questions, contact your system administrator.

Enabling and Connecting Wi-Fi

  1. Connect the Wi-Fi Dongle to the USB port.
  2. On the main screen, choose Apps > System > Wi-Fi to access the Wi-Fi list screen.

    If you have not logged in to the IP phone, choose More > Network > Wi-Fi to access the Wi-Fi list screen.

    If the Wi-Fi option is unavailable on your phone, contact your system administrator.

  3. Press Enable.
  4. Connect Wi-Fi.

    • If you select a wireless network requiring no password, press Connect.
    • If you select a wireless network requiring a password, press Connect, enter the password, and press Done.

    You can set a static IP address or enable DHCP to automatically allocate an IP address in IP Setting when connecting Wi-Fi.

    is displayed next to the connected Wi-Fi.

Adding a Network

  1. On the Wi-Fi list screen, press More.
  2. Press Add Network.
  3. Enter a network name in the Network SSID field. Select the security type and set parameters such as the password as prompt.
  4. Optional: Press IP Setting. According to the network planning, set a static IP address or enable DHCP to automatically allocate an IP address.
  5. Press Done.

    is displayed next to the connected Wi-Fi.

Viewing Wi-Fi Details

  1. On the Wi-Fi list screen, select the connected Wi-Fi and press Detail.

    On the details screen, you can check the network SSID, IP address, status, signal strength, speed, and security.

  2. Optional: Press IP Setting. According to the network planning, set a static IP address or enable DHCP to automatically allocate an IP address.

Clearing Networks

  • Clear networks in the Wi-Fi list.
    1. On the Wi-Fi list screen, press More.
    2. Press Forget.
  • Clear networks on the Wi-Fi details screen.
    1. On the Wi-Fi list screen, select the connected Wi-Fi and press Detail.
    2. Press Forget.

Disabling Wi-Fi

On the Wi-Fi list screen, press Disable.
