Call Park

Call Park

You can hold an active call and retrieve the call on another phone that has been assigned the call park rights within 3 minutes.

Prerequisites

Your account has been assigned the call park rights.

Using the Call Park Function

  1. During a call, press More to navigate to Park.
  2. Press Park.

    In the Asterisk network environment, after you press Park, the phone enters the screen for confirming the park operation and plays an announcement, telling you the access code for retrieving the parked call. Press Done to park the call.

Retrieving a Parked Call

If you do not retrieve the parked call from another phone within three minutes, the phone on which the call parking operation is performed receives the call from the parked call number. You can answer the call to retrieve it.

  1. On the home screen of another phone, press More to navigate to Unpark.
  2. Press Unpark.
  3. Enter the call park number and press Unpark.

When multiple numbers exist on the IP phone for retrieving a parked call, the first line is used to retrieve the call by default. To use other numbers to retrieve the call, you can press the corresponding line button on the home screen and enter *12*Number of the user who has parked the call# on the dialing screen to retrieve the call.
