The following describes the Broker service in the VFOneNet network environment:

If one line of your phone is in an ongoing call and the call on the other line is held, you can press Broker in the call window to set up a call between the peer user of the ongoing call and peer user of the held call. The scenario is as follows:

  1. Users A and B are in an ongoing call.
  2. User C calls user A and user A answers the call from user C. User A's call with user B is held.
  3. User A presses More in the call window and then presses Broker.
  4. A call is set up between users B and C and user disconnects the calls with users B and C.

If your phone has more than two calls, after you press Broker, a window for selecting a line is displayed, and you can select a line on which a call is held to set up a call between the peer user of the held call and the peer user of the ongoing call. The scenario is as follows:

  1. The call between users A and B is held and user A is talking with user C.
  2. User D calls user A and user A answers the call. The calls between user A and users B and C are held.
  3. User A presses More in the call window and then presses Broker. The Select a line window is displayed.
  4. User A selects user B, for example, and presses OK. A call is set up between users B and D.
  5. The window indicating that user A's call with user C is held is displayed on user A's phone.
  • You can press Broker when you are either a calling or called party.
  • The Broker function applies only to different lines of the same number but not different numbers on the same phone.
