os_change_bayconfig.sh

Function

The os_change_bayconfig.sh command is used to modify the information about bay config saved on the BMC for the information to take effect.

Format

os_change_bayconfig.sh { delete | change | set | sync }

Parameters

delete

Deletes the information about bay config from the BMC. The parameter only applies to 3 U and 6 U devices instead of 2 U devices.

change

Reads the configuration information from a disk and writes the information into the BMC.

set

Reads the BayConfig.ini file from the BMC and writes the information into memory and disks. If the information fails to be read from the BMC,read it from disks and writes it into memory for it to take effect. The parameter only applies to 3 U and 6 U devices instead of 2 U devices.

sync

Writes the bay config file into the disks.

Example

To change the configuration of bay config saved on a BMC, run the following command.

Storage: minisystem>os_change_bayconfig.sh change 
[os_change_bayconfig.sh]: Execute os_change_bayconfig.sh success.
