change protocol debug

Function

The change protocol debug command is used to enable or disable the debug log.

Format

change protocol debug name=? enabled=? [ controller=? ]

Parameters

Parameter

Description

Value

name=?

Protocol name.

The value can be "ftp", "http", or "ndmp".

  • "ftp": FTP protocol.
  • "http": HTTP protocol.
  • "ndmp": NDMP protocol.

enabled=?

Whether to enable.

The value can be "yes" or "no".

  • "yes": enables the debug log.
  • "no": disables the debug log.

controller=?

Indicates the controller ID.

The value is in the format of "XA" or "XB" or "XC" or "XD", where the "X" is an integer ranging from 0 to 3, for example: "0A", "1C".

Example

  • Enable the debug log for FTP.
    developer:/>change protocol debug name=ftp enabled=yes 
    CAUTION: You are about to open the protocol debug. This operation may cause the log to be partially covered, and a large amount of printing degrades the performance.  
    Suggestion: Confirm whether the protocol debug log is required to be opened. 
    Do you wish to continue?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Disable the debug log for NDMP.
    developer:/>change protocol debug name=ndmp enabled=no 
    Command executed successfully.
