Usage Guidelines

  • One-click log collection is designed to assist commissioning and O&M engineers with system log collection when a system runs incorrectly or a routine maintenance is performed.Logs collected can help commissioning and O&M engineers troubleshoot the fault or learn about the running status of the system.
  • If you do not enter any parameter, collected logs will be stored to /tmp/backup_info.tar.bz2, where /tmp is the directory where logs are stored by default, and backup_info.tar.bz2 is the default name of a log file.
  • Precautions:

-p: checks whether remaining memory is sufficient for log collection. The minimum available memory for all logs collection is 300 MB, and for recent logs collection is 160MB. You can view the check result in log /OSM/log/cur_debug/messages (inputting OS_CreatePolicy for searching).

Example

Check whether available memory is sufficient for log collection.

Storage: minisystem>os_backup_info.sh -p
/usr/bin/os_backup_info.sh memory is sufficient.
