The protect command is used to enable or disable write protection for the flash memory.

Usage Guidelines

  • The "protect on start end" command is used to enable write protection on the flash memory from the start address to the end address.
  • The "protect on start +len" command is used to enable write protection for a length of flash memory from the start address.
  • The "protect on N:SF[-SL]" command is used to enable write protection for the flash bank. "N" indicates the flash memory bank ID, "SF" indicates the ID of the start sector to be protected, and "SL" indicates the ID of the end sector to be protected.
  • The "protect on bank N" is used to enable write protection for a certain flash bank. "N" indicates the flash memory bank ID.
  • The "protect on <part-id>" command is used to enable write protection for a certain flash partition. "id" indicates the flash memory partition ID.
  • The "protect on all" command is used to enable write protection for all flash memory.
  • The "protect off start end" command is used to disable write protection on the flash memory from the start address to the end address.
  • The "protect off start +len" command is used to disable write protection for a length of flash memory from the start address.
