change fs_clone split

Function

The change fs_clone split command is used to start or stop the split of a clone file system.

Format

change fs_clone split file_system_id_list=? action=? [ split_speed=? ] [ delete_parent_snapshot=? ]

file_system_id_list=?

List of clone file system IDs.

  • Multiple IDs are separated by commas (,). ID ranges can be separated by hyphens(-).
  • The ID is an integer from 0 to 65535.

action=?

Action.

The value can be "start" or "stop".

split_speed=?

Split speed.

The value can be "Low", "Medium", "High", or "Highest". The default value is "Medium".

delete_parent_snapshot=?

Whether to delete the associated snapshot in the parent file system.

The value can be "yes" or "no". The default value is "no".

Usage Guidelines

Check whether the ID of the selected clone file system is correct before operation.

Example

  • Start the split of the clone file system whose ID is 1.
    admin:/>change fs_clone split file_system_id_list=1 action=start 
    DANGER: You are about to start the split of clone file system. This operation may occupy extra memory, and all snapshots in the clone file system will be deleted. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the ID of the selected clone file system is correct. 
    Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y 
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
    Change fs_clone split 1 successfully.
  • Stop the split of the clone file system whose ID is 1.
    admin:/>change fs_clone split file_system_id_list=1 action=stop 
    DANGER: You are about to start the split of clone file system. This operation may occupy extra memory, and all snapshots in the clone file system will be deleted.
