remove cache_partition file_system


The remove cache_partition file_system command is used to remove file systems from a cache partition.


remove cache_partition file_system cache_partition_id=? file_system_id_list=?






ID of the cache partition from which you want to remove file systems.

To obtain the value, run "show cache_partition general".


IDs of the file systems that you want to remove from a cache partition.

  • To obtain the value, run "show file_system general".
  • If you need to remove multiple file systems, separate the file system IDs with commas (,), and use hyphens (-) to represent ID ranges, such as: 0,5-8.



Usage Guidelines



Remove file system "0" from cache partition "0".

admin:/>remove cache_partition file_system cache_partition_id=0 file_system_id_list=0 
DANGER: You are about to remove file system from SmartPartition. 
This operation may affect file system performance. During the operation, this file system cannot process new I/O requests. The file system can process new I/O requests when its health status is "Normal" and its running status is "Online". 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the preceding risk is acceptable and the correct SmartPartition and file system are selected.

Remove file system 0 from cache partition successfully.
