Function

The change fs_security config command is used to change file system permission configurations.

Format

change fs_security config cifs_migration_reserve_unix_security=? [ u_sid_prefix=? g_sid_prefix=? o_sid=? suid_sid=? sgid_sid=? svtx_sid=? ]

Value

u_sid_prefix

SID prefix that represents the owner permission in the migrated NTACL that is constructed according to the UNIX MODE.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

g_sid_prefix

SID prefix that represents the owning group permission in the migrated NTACL that is constructed according to the UNIX MODE.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

o_sid

SID that represents the other users or groups permission in the migrated NTACL that is constructed according to the UNIX MODE.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

suid_sid

SID that represents the SUID identifier in the migrated NTACL that is constructed according to the UNIX MODE.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

sgid_sid

SID that represents the SGID identifier in the migrated NTACL that is constructed according to the UNIX MODE.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

svtx_sid

SID that represents the SVTX identifier in the migrated NTACL that is constructed according to the UNIX MODE.

The value is a string containing 3 to 256 characters and must meet definitions in [MS-DTYP].

cifs_migration_reserve_unix_security

Whether UNIX permissions are reserved when migrating data through the CIFS protocol.

Where:

  • "no": Do not reserve UNIX permissions when migrating data through the CIFS protocol.
  • "yes": Reserve UNIX permissions when migrating data through the CIFS protocol.
