change hypervault_copy restore


The restore hypervault_copy general command is used to restore a copy to the primary file system.


change hypervault_copy restore copy_id=? [ clean_primary_fs=? ]






ID of the HyperVault copy.

To obtain the value, run "show hypervault_copy general hypervault_id=?".


Whether to clean up the primary file system.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": The primary file system will be cleaned up.
  • "no": The primary file system will not be cleaned up.

The default value is "no".



Usage Guidelines



Restore copy "556653223" to the primary file system.

admin:/>change hypervault_copy restore copy_id=556653223  
DANGER: You are about to restore copy to primary file system. 
If this operation is performed on the primary storage system, data in the file system will be restored to the data on the copy in the primary storage system. Copies created after this copy will be deleted. 
If this operation is performed on the secondary storage system, data in the primary file system will be restored to the data on the copy in the secondary storage system. The data restoration period is determined by the data volume on the copy. If you choose to clean up the primary file system when starting restoration, you need to manually delete user snapshots from the primary file system. This restoration task cannot be canceled. After the restoration is complete, data on the primary file system will be deleted. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, back up the data on the primary file system and ensure that the selected copy is correct. Besides, ensure that the primary and secondary file systems are not being read or written by hosts.Have you read danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y
