add identity_mapping rule

Function

The add identity_mapping rule command is used to add user mapping rules.

Format

add identity_mapping rule from_identity=? to_identity=? mapping_type=? [ priority=? ] [ host_name=? | address=? ]

from_identity=?

Pre-mapping identifier.

The * wildcard character is supported, but the ** is not. The value is a string containing 1 to 256 characters. The value cannot contain (/), ([]), (:), (;), (|), (=), (,), (+), (?), (<>), (@), ("), and control characters. The last character cannot be (.).

to_identity=?

Post-mapping identifier.

The value is a string containing 1 to 256 characters. The value cannot contain (/), ([]), (:), (;), (|), (=), (,), (+), (*), (?), (<>), (@), ("), and control characters. The last character cannot be (.).

mapping_type=?

Mapping type.

The value can be "Windows_to_Unix" and "Unix_to_Windows", where:

  • "Windows_to_Unix": maps a Windows user as a UNIX user.
  • "Unix_to_Windows": maps a UNIX user as a Windows user.

priority=?

Priority of mapping rules.

The value ranges from 1 to 32. The default value is 10.

host_name=?

Host name.

The value ranges from 1 to 255 characters.

  • The value can consist of letters, digits, hyphens (-), periods (.), and underscores (_).
  • The value starts with a letter or digit, and cannot end with a hyphen (-) or underscore (_).
  • The value cannot contain consecutive periods (.), combination of a period and hyphen (.- or -.), or the combination of a period and underscore (._ or _.).
  • The value cannot consist of pure digits.
  • The fully qualified domain name (FQDN) is recommended.

address=?

IP address segment.

The value can be an IPv4 address segment or an IPv6 address segment, for example: 192.168.0.0/16.
