change vm_file transference

Function

The change vm_file transference command is used to transfer files between devices.

Format

change vm_file transference file_type=? file_name=? src_vm_fs_id=? des_vm_fs_id=?

Parameters

Parameter

Value

file_type=?

The file type to be operated.

The value can be:

  • ISO indicates a iso file.
  • vm_template indicates a virtual machine template file.
  • vmtools indicates a virtual machine upgrade file.

file_name=?

The file name to be operated.

To obtain the value, run the "show vm_iso general/show vm_template general/show vmtools general" command without parameters.

src_vm_fs_id=?

The ID of the VM file system where the file to be transfered is stored.

To obtain the value, run the "show vm_fs general" command without parameters.

des_vm_fs_id=?

The target file system ID that the file will be transfered to.

To obtain the value, run the "show vm_fs general" command without parameters.

  • Tranfer a iso file from file system 0 to file system 1.
    admin:/>change vm_file transference file_type=ISO file_name=win7.iso src_vm_fs_id=0 des_vm_fs_id=1 
    Command send successfully.
  • Tranfer a template file from file system 1 to file system 0.
    admin:/>change vm_file transference file_type=vm_template file_name=testB.img src_vm_fs_id=1 des_vm_fs_id=0 
    Command send successfully.
