create antivirus_server general

Function

The create antivirus_server general command is used to create an antivirus server.

Format

create antivirus_server general name=? ip=? port=? vendor=? logical_port_name_list=?

name=?

Name of the antivirus sever.

The value consists of 1 to 127 ASCII characters including numbers, letters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).

ip=?

IP address of the antivirus server.

An IPv4 address consists of four 8-digit unsigned integers, with each integer ranging from 0 to 255. An IPv6 address consists of eight 16-digit unsigned integers, with each integer represented by four hexadecimal numbers.

port=?

Port of the antivirus agent on the antivirus server. The default port of the antivirus agent is "26810".

The value ranges from 1 to 65535.

vendor=?

Antivirus software.

The value can be "symantec_protection_engine", "symantec_endpoint_protection", "trendmicro_serverprotect", "mcafee_virusscan", "sophos_antivirus", "kaspersky_antivirus_protection" or "rising_antivirus", where:

  • "symantec_protection_engine": Symantec SPE antivirus software supporting ICAP.
  • "symantec_endpoint_protection": Symantec SEP antivirus software.
  • "trendmicro_serverprotect": Trend Micro antivirus software.
  • "mcafee_virusscan": McAfee antivirus software.
  • "sophos_antivirus": Sophos antivirus software.
  • "kaspersky_antivirus_protection": Kaspersky antivirus software.
  • "rising_antivirus": Rising antivirus software.

logical_port_name_list=?

List of available logical ports of the antivirus server.

To obtain the value, run the "show logical_port general" command. Multiple logical ports are separated by commas (,). For example, "lif01,lif02".

  • Before running this command, ensure that the antivirus module is running correctly.

Example

Create an antivirus server whose name is "srv1", IP address is "10.187.70.189", port is "26810", antivirus software is "symantec_endpoint_protection", and logical port list is "lif01,lif02".
