change common_config nfs

Function

The change common_config nfs command is used to modify basic NFS(Network File System) configurations.

Format

change common_config nfs { communication_thread_number=? | work_thread_number=? | max_block_size=? | { permit_listen_ip=? | deny_listen_ip=? } | { permit_client=? | deny_client=? } } *

communication_thread_number=?

Indicates the number of NFS-based communication threads (global).

The value ranges from 1 to 128.

work_thread_number=?

Indicates the number of NFS-based working threads (global).

The value ranges from 1 to 128.

max_block_size=?

Indicates the MTU of NFS (global).

The value ranges from 1024 to 1,048,576.

permit_listen_ip=?

Indicates the whitelist of NFS listening IP addresses (tenant).

A maximum of 31 IP addresses can be entered. Separate IP addresses with a comma(,). Enter an asterisk (*) to add all IP addresses to the whitelist.

deny_listen_ip=?

Indicates the blacklist of NFS listening IP addresses (tenant).

A maximum of 31 IP addresses can be entered. Separate IP addresses with a comma(,). Enter an asterisk (*) to add all IP addresses to the blacklist.

permit_client=?

Indicates the whitelist of NFS clients (tenant).

Enter an asterisk (*) to add all clients to the whitelist.

deny_client=?

Indicates the blacklist of NFS clients (tenant).

A maximum of 31 IP addresses can be entered. Separate IP addresses with a comma(,).

Usage Guidelines

To change common configurations related to NFS, run the following change service nfs_config command instead of change common_config nfs command.

Example

  • To view common configurations related to NFS before configuration modification, run the following command.
    admin:/>show common_config nfs 
      
    Communication Thread Number : 1000 
    Work Thread Number : 32631 
    Max Block Size : 100 
    Listen IP : deny 192.168.1.1 
    Client Black List : deny 192.168.1.1
  • To change the number of NFS-based communication threads, run the following command.
    admin:/>change common_config nfs communication_thread_number=100 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To change the maximum number of working threads allowed in sharing, run the following command.
    admin:/>change common_config nfs work_thread_number=100 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To change the maximum transmission unit (MTU), run the following command.
    admin:/>change common_config nfs max_block_size=10 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To modify the blacklist of listening IP addresses, run the following command.
    admin:/>change common_config nfs permit_listen_ip=* 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To modify the blacklist of client IP addresses, run the following command.
    admin:/>change common_config nfs permit_client=* 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To view common configurations related to NFS after configuration modification, run the following command.
    admin:/>show common_config nfs 
      
    Communication Thread Number : 100 
    Work Thread Number : 100 
    Max Block Size : 10 
    Listen IP : permit * 
    Client Black List : permit *
