Function

The delete hyper_metro_pair dcl command is used to forcibly delete the HyperMetro DCL from a specific LUN or file system.

Format

delete hyper_metro_pair dcl { lun_id=? | file_system_id=? } dcl_id=?

DCL ID.

To obtain the value, run "dcl showdclid".

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance. This command can be used to delete a DCL when the HyperMetro database is incorrect and the HyperMetro cannot be deleted on the CLI. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • This command must be used with the "delete hyper_metro_db" command. After deleting the corresponding DCL, restart the system.

Example

Delete HyperMetro DCL "3" of LUN "0".

DANGER: You are about to forcibly maintain the HyperMetro configuration. This operation will make the corresponding value-added pair unavailable. 
This operation enables you to forcibly delete a single configuration item of HyperMetro if HyperMetro objects cannot be deleted properly. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, contract R&D engineers and confirm the following: 
1. The system is not being configured by other users. 
2. Host I/Os of HyperMetro LUNs or file system have been stopped. 
3. The entered parameter values are correct. 
You need to perform this operation under the guidance of R&D engineers.
