The restore configuration_data command is used to restore database data in a disk backup partition.

Usage Guidelines

  • This command provides an interactive mode for entering passwords. The password will be displayed behind asterisks.
  • If the number of consecutively entered incorrect passwords reaches 3 within 5 minutes, the current session will be disconnected.


To restore database data in a disk backup partition, run the following command.

developer:/>restore configuration_data 
DANGER: You are going to restore the configuration data from the backup area of the coffer disk. This operation causes the storage system to restart automatically. All running services on the storage system are interrupted. 
Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, implement the following steps: 
1. Check whether the model, version, and time of the configuration data in the backup area are correct. 
2. Back up the existing configuration data. 
3. Stop all running services on the system. 
4. This command restores only the database configuration data. If storage services are modified after backing up the database configuration data, do not attempt to recover the database configuration data from the backup area. Otherwise, storage services may fail and the storage system may fail to be started up.
