change lun_grain

Function

The change lun_grain command is used to insert or delete the grain mapping entry of a thin LUN.

Format

change lun_grain lun_id=? grain_id=? action=? [ extent_id=? extent_offset=? ]

lun_id=?

LUN ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show lun general" command in guest view.

grain_id=?

Grain ID.

The grain ID needs to be obtained from technical support engineers based on the repair result.

action=?

0peration type.

The value can be "insert" or "delete", where:

  • "insert": inserts a mapping entry.
  • "delete": deletes a mapping entry.

extent_id=?

Extent ID.

The extent ID needs to be obtained from technical support engineers based on the repair result.

extent_offset=?

Extent offset.

The extent offset needs to be obtained from technical support engineers based on the repair result.

Usage Guidelines

If "action=?" is set to "insert", specify the parameters of "extent_id" and "extent_offset".

Example

Insert grain 0 into LUN 0.
