Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance. This command can be used to delete the HyperMetro configurations only when the LUN or the file system is offline, cannot be recovered, and needs to be deleted. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • Run this command with the command of forcibly deleting this LUN or file system. Run this command to delete HyperMetro configurations on the LUN or the file system first, then delete this LUN or file system forcibly. If the LUN or the file system is configured with a HyperMetro pair, it cannot be deleted. Restart the system after running the commands.

Example

Forcibly delete HyperMetro pair whose ID is "84ad58eb9325c0".

developer:>delete hyper_metro_pair dump pair_id=84ad58eb9325c0
DANGER: You are about to forcibly maintain the HyperMetro configuration. This operation causes the HyperMetro pair, the HyperVault pair and HyperReplication Pair in the local file system of the HyperMetro pair to be unavailable.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, contract R&D engineers and confirm the following:
1. The system is not being configured by other users.
2. Host I/Os of HyperMetro LUNs or file system have been stopped.
3. The entered parameter values are correct.
4. Restart the system after running the commands.
