Function

The change cache dsg_poolconcur_watermark command is used to set the concurrency watermarks for the pool in the layer-2 cache flushing.

Format

change cache dsg_poolconcur_watermark flow_type=? concur_type=? pool_id=? water_no=? water_low=? water_mid=? water_high=?

flow_type=?

I/O type.

The value can be "random" or "sequence", where:

  • "random": random I/Os.
  • "sequence": sequential I/Os.

concur_type=?

Concurrency type.

The value can be "req" or "page", where:

  • "req": The concurrency type is REQ.
  • "page": The concurrency type is PAGE.

pool_id=?

Pool ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 128.

NOTE:

This parameter indicates the selected pool ID.

water_no=?

Zero watermark.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 2097152.

NOTE:

This parameter indicates the value set for the zero watermark.

water_low=?

Low watermark.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 2097152.

NOTE:

This parameter indicates the value set for the low watermark.

water_mid=?

Medium watermark.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 2097152.

NOTE:

This parameter indicates the value set for the medium watermark.

water_high=?

High watermark.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 2097152.

NOTE:

This parameter indicates the value set for the high watermark.

Usage Guidelines

You can run this command to set the concurrency watermarks for the pool in the layer-2 cache flushing module.

NOTE:

This command must be executed on the current controller.

Example

Set the type of concurrent I/Os for the pool in the layer-2 cache flushing to "sequence" and concurrency type to "page". For the pool whose ID is "0", the zero watermark is "1", the low watermark is "20", the medium watermark is "50", and the high watermark is "80".
