Function

The delete disklog command is used to delete specified logs of a disk.

Format

delete disklog disk_domain_id=? disk_id=? log_type=? [ ckg_object_id=? ] [ lba=? ] [ length=? ]

disk_domain_id=?

Disk domain ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show disk_domain general" command in the guest view.

disk_id=?

Disk ID.

To obtain the value, run the "disklog show" command in the diagnose view of the developer view.

log_type=?

Indicates where the logs are saved.

The value can be "rootckg" or "db", where:

  • "rootckg": Logs are saved in Rootckg.
  • "db": Logs are saved in DB.

ckg_object_id=?

Chunk group ID. If this parameter is specified, the "lba" parameter is mandatory.

To obtain the value, run the "ckgiof luntrans" command in the diagnose view of the developer view.

lba=?

LBA. If this parameter is specified, the "length" parameter is mandatory.

The value must be smaller than the maximum capacity of a disk (unit: sector).

length=?

Log length.

The value depends on the capacity of a disk (unit: sector).

Example

Delete the logs whose length is "8" and LBA is "7077888", saved in rootckg, from member disk "522" of CKG "70434275999744" (hexadecimal: "400F42004000").
