spa queryinitext


The spa queryinitext command is used to query the extents to be initialized.


spa queryinitext -p pool id -l lun id -e extent id -n extent number





pool id

Disk domain ID.

The ID can be obtained by running the show disk_domain general command in super administrator mode.

lun id


The ID can be obtained by running the show lun general command in super administrator mode.

extent id

Searched extent ID.


extent number

Number of extents to be queried.

Usage Guidelines

This command must be run on the working controller of the LUN.


Query the information of extents to be initialized in disk domain 0. The LUN ID of the extent to be initialized is 0. The searched extent ID is 0x2efe. The number of the extent to be queried is 2.

admin:/diagnose>spa queryinitext -p 0 -l 0 -e 0x2efe -n 2
