Function

The delete hypervault general command is used to delete a HyperVault pair.

Format

delete hypervault general hypervault_id=? [ is_local_delete=? ] [ reserve_copy=? ]

Parameters

hypervault_id=?

ID of the HyperVault object.

To obtain the value, run the "show hypervault general" command without parameters.

is_local_delete=?

Whether a HyperVault pair can be locally deleted when the link is down.

The value can be:

  • "yes": The HyperVault pair can be locally deleted.
  • "no": The HyperVault pair cannot be locally deleted.

The default value is "no".

reserve_copy=?

Whether to reserve the copy.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": The copy will be reserved.
  • "no": The copy will not be reserved.

The default value is "yes".

Delete HyperVault pair "9747215445131264".

DANGER: You are about to delete HyperVault. 
The deletion cannot be undone. This operation will remove the HyperVault function from the file systems and the local and remote backup functions of file systems will become unavailable. After HyperVault is deleted, data written to the primary file system will not be backed up, and data on copies in the secondary file system cannot be restored to the primary file system. If there are incomplete tasks, file system data may become incomplete after HyperVault is deleted. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that you have selected the correct HyperVault.
