change interface_module

Function

The change interface_module command is used to modify the properties of a specific interface module.

Format

change interface_module interface_module_id=? mode=?

Parameters

interface_module_id=?

ID of an interface module.

To obtain the value, run "show interface_module" without parameters.

mode=?

Interface module mode.

The value can be "FC", "FCoE/iSCSI", "Cluster", or "Ethernet", where:

  • "FC": indicates the interface module is in FC mode.
  • "FCoE/iSCSI": indicates the interface module is in FCoE/iSCSI mode.
  • "Cluster": indicates the interface module is in cluster mode.
  • "Ethernet": indicates the interface module is in Ethernet mode.

Usage Guidelines

  • Before performing this operation, ensure that the services of all ports on the interface module are stopped.
  • After performing this operation, create a new network based on the current work mode of the interface card.

Example

Change the mode of the interface module whose ID is "CTE0.A0" to FC.

admin:/>change interface_module interface_module_id=CTE0.A0 mode=FC 
DANGER: You are about to modify the work mode of the interface module. 
This operation will cause that the services of all ports on the interface module are interrupted. 
Suggestion: 
1.Before you perform this operation, ensure that the services of all ports on the interface module are stopped. 
2.After performing this operation, create a new network based on the current work mode of the interface module.
