Usage Guidelines

  • If "quota_type" is "directory", directory quota of the quota tree will be created, without "user_name" or "group_name" inputting.
  • The parameter "user_name" is dependent on "quota_type". If "quota_type" is "user", then the value of "user_name" and "user_group_type" must be entered, without "group_name" inputting.
  • The parameter "group_name" is dependent on "quota_type". If "quota_type" is "group", then the value of "group_name" and "user_group_type" must be entered, without "user_name" inputting.
  • Create group quota for an AD domain group is not supported.
  • It is equivalent to creating default directory quota for the file system when creating directory quota for the Root Quota Tree.

Example

  • Create directory quota for the quota tree 0@1, the quota type is set to "directory", and the space hard quota is configured with 1 GB.
    admin:/>create quota quota_tree quota_tree_id=0@1 quota_type=directory space_hard_quota=1GB
    Command executed successfully.
  • Create quota for the local resource user engineerA on the quota tree 0@1, the quota type is set to "user", and the space hard quota is configured with 1 GB.
    admin:/>create quota quota_tree quota_tree_id=0@1 quota_type=user user_name=engineerA user_group_type=local space_hard_quota=1GB
