Function

The create hypervault general command is used to create a HyperVault pair.

Format

create hypervault general local_fs_id=? [ remote_device_id=? remote_fs_id=? ] [ recover_policy=? ] [ backup_rate=? ] [ restore_rate=? ] [ start_backup_after_create=? ] [ compress_enable=? ]

local_fs_id=?

ID of the local file system.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command without parameters.

remote_device_id=?

ID of the remote device.

To obtain the value, run "show remote_device general".

remote_fs_id=?

ID of the remote file system.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command without parameters on the remote device.

recover_policy=?

Fault rectification policy.

The value is "automatic" or "manual", where:

  • "automatic": Backup is automatically recovered after the interrupted link is recovered. Data is automatically backed up from the primary device.
  • "manual": After the interrupted link is recovered, you need to manually recover backup. Data will not be automatically backed up from the primary device to the secondary device.

The default value is "automatic".

backup_rate=?

Backup rate.

The value is "low", "middle", "high", or "highest", where:

  • "low": low backup rate.
  • "middle": medium backup rate.
  • "high": high backup rate.
  • "highest": highest backup rate.

The default value is "middle".

restore_rate=?

Restoration rate.

The value is "high" or "highest", where:

  • "high": high restoration rate.
  • "highest": highest restoration rate.

The default value is "high".

start_backup_after_create=?

Whether to immediately start backup after a remote backup task is created.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": starts initial backup.
  • "no": not start initial backup.

The default value is "yes".

compress_enable

Whether to enable compression.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • yes: enables compression.
  • no: disables compression.

Create a HyperVault pair. The local file system ID is "0", remote device ID is "0", and remote file system ID is "1".
