Function

The change disk erase command is used to erase the encrypted disk data.

Format

change disk erase disk_id_list=?

Parameters

disk_id_list=?

ID list of the disks that will start the data disruption functionality.

The value can be disk ID range or disk ID list, where:

  • Disk ID range: The format is start disk ID-end disk ID, for example, DAE000.1-5.
  • Disk ID list: Multiple disk IDs are separated with commas (","), for example, DAE000.1,DAE000.2,DAE000.3.

To obtain the value, run "show disk general".

Example

  • Erase the encrypted disk data for disks with disk_id_list DAE000.1, DAE000.2, DAE000.3.
    admin:/>change disk erase disk_id_list=DAE000.1,DAE000.2,DAE000.3 
    DANGER: You are about to erase the data in a specified encrypted disk list. This operation will erase the data of the encrypted disks in the list. The erased data cannot be recovered. 
    Suggestion: Before running the command, confirm that you need to erase the data in the encrypted disk list. 
    Have you read the danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y 
      
    Enter "I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation." to confirm running this command: 
    I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation. 
    Change disk erase DAE000.1 successfully. 
    Change disk erase DAE000.2 successfully. 
    Change disk erase DAE000.3 successfully.
  • Erase the encrypted disk data for disks with disk_id_list DAE000.1-3.
