swap hyper_metro_vstore_pair worksite

Function

The swap hyper_metro_vstore_pair worksite command is used to switch over the working site of a HyperMetro vStore pair.

Format

swap hyper_metro_vstore_pair worksite pair_id=? [ is_force_swap=? ]

ID of the HyperMetro vStore pair.

Run the "show hyper_metro_vstore_pair general" command to obtain the value.

is_force_swap=?

Whether to forcibly switch over the working site of the vStore pair.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": forcibly switches over the working site of the vStore pair.
  • "no": not forcibly switches over the working site of the vStore pair.

The default value is "no".

Example

  • Forcibly switch over the working site of HyperMetro vStore pair "1".
    admin:/>swap hyper_metro_vstore_pair worksite pair_id=1 is_force_swap=yes 
    DANGER: You are about to forcibly switch over the working site of the HyperMetro vStore pair. This operation will make the current working site stop providing services and switch over host services to a non-working site. The non-working site may fail to take over services. If so, services will be interrupted. In addition, if the capacities of resources at the two end that belong to the HyperMetro pair of the HyperMetro vStore pair are inconsistent, the following risks may arise: 
    1. If the capacity of the active resource is larger than that of the passive resource, the HyperMetro pair I/Os may become abnormal, HyperMetro pair may be interrupted unexpectedly, or the data at the two ends resources may become inconsistent. 
    2. If the capacity of the active resource is smaller than that of the passive resource, the remaining space of the passive resource is wasted. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that you need to switch over the host services to the non-working site of the HyperMetro vStore pair.

    WARNING: You are about to switch over the working site of the HyperMetro vStore pair. In addition, if the capacities of the  resources at the two ends that belong to the HyperMetro pair of the HyperMetro vStore pair are inconsistent, the following risks may arise: 
    1. If the capacity of the active resource is larger than that of the passive resource, the HyperMetro pair I/Os may become abnormal, HyperMetro pairs may be interrupted unexpectedly, or the data at the two ends may become inconsistent. 
    2. If the capacity of the active resource is smaller than that of the passive resource, the remaining space of the passive resource is wasted. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that you have checked the HyperMetro vStore pair and the check results are normal.
