Function

The create vstore general command is used to create a vStore.

Format

create vstore general name=? [ description=? | san_capacity_quota=? | nas_capacity_quota=? ]

Parameters

name=?

vStore name.

The value contains letters, digits, underscores (_), periods (.), or hyphens (-). The name contains 1 to 31 characters.

description=?

vStore description.

The value consists of a maximum of 255 characters.

san_capacity_quota=?

SAN capacity quota of a vStore.

  • The value is in the format of "capacity value + unit", expressed in KB, MB, GB, TB, or Blocks.
  • The value ranges from 1024 sectors to 18446744073709551614 sectors.

nas_capacity_quota=?

NAS capacity quota of a vStore.

  • The value is in the format of "capacity value + unit", expressed in KB, MB, GB, TB, or Blocks.
  • The value ranges from 2097152 sectors to 18446744073709551614 sectors.
