delete file_system_tier_policy

Function

The delete file_system_tier_policy command is used to delete the file policy for the file system.

Format

delete file_system_tier_policy [ file_system_id=? ] [ policy_id=? ]

file_system_id

File system ID. All the tier policies will be deleted if the file system ID is used for deleting the tier policy.

The value ranges from 0 to 65535.

policy_id

Policy ID.

The value ranges from 0 to 2^64 – 1.

Usage Guidelines

Example

  • Delete the specified file policy for the file system.
    admin:/>delete file_system_tier_policy policy_id=9 
    CAUTION: You are about to delete SmartTier file policies of the file system. If the relocation task is running, this operation will stop the relocation. If not all file policies are deleted, and the task Schedule Type is not Immediately, it can be executed only in the next period. If the task Schedule Type is Immediately, it must be manually triggered. If all file policies are deleted, the relocation task cannot be executed. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the risk is acceptable. 
    Do you wish to continue?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Delete all the file policies for the specified file system.
    admin:/>delete file_system_tier_policy file_system_id=0 
    CAUTION: You are about to delete SmartTier file policies of the file system. If the relocation task is running, this operation will stop the relocation. If not all file policies are deleted, and the task Schedule Type is not Immediately, it can be executed only in the next period. If the task Schedule Type is Immediately, it must be manually triggered. If all file policies are deleted, the relocation task cannot be executed. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the risk is acceptable.
